The Ride to Cure Diabetes is a unique and exciting way to fight diabetes. Participants can choose from one of five exciting Ride locations. Riders enjoy the adventure of a lifetime all while being amazed by our country's natural landscapes up close. Each destination promises its own beauty and challenges, and will help to create memories that will remain long after the return home.
Participants can bike for their choice of distance (usually between 30 and 100 miles) to raise money towards our goal of a permanent cure for diabetes. All Ride to Cure Diabetes participants are furnished with JDRF jerseys and USA Cycling certified coaches to learn the ropes and look the part. JDRF Youth Ambassadors also offer boundless encouragement to riders and serve as constant reminders of the millions of men, women, boys and girls who live every day with type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Every Ride to Cure Diabetes weekend is filled with an atmosphere of teamwork and togetherness, anticipation and excitement. The challenges each rider faces, the friends they make and the experience we all build together create memories which last a lifetime.
